Follow site protocols
The SKC expects their judges to follow all guidelines and set an example for their fellow users. This also means you will be expected to enforce our show rules when necessary. Conformation shows and otherwise will be opened using the same template and same point system. Conformation shows will use the same awards/ribbons. These will be provided to you in a Judges Packet upon your acceptance as judge.

Adhere to strict timelines
As a judge, you will be assigned certain shows in a certain rotation. It is your responsibility to judge in a timely fashion. Of course, we understand life can get in the way. If your show goes un-judged for 24hrs after the specified judging date, another staff member will be assigned to do so.

Remain unbiased
Judges are expected to remain unbiased. We all have a favorite breed, friends on the site, and even people we don't get along with. Do not allow this to cloud your judgement. More importantly, due to your ability to create multiple kennel accounts, you may be tempted to continuously place a dog we may not know was created/handled by you. If such action takes place your staff duties will be revoked and further action may be taken. If you wish to enter a show you will be judging,

Judge accurately to the best of their abilities
No one is expected to have the knowledge of a real life judge with 50 years of experience. Try your best to judge the dogs as accurately as possible. Be sure no dog with a disqualifying fault places. Read Judge's Educations, Illustrated Standards, and if possible watch videos meant to educate on conformation.
