Welcome to Teganzari Chihuahuas. Or Teganzari for short as we do specialize in more than chihuahuas. Here at TZ we breed, train, and show Chihuahuas, Ibizan Hounds & Schnauzers(Standards). We may in the future expand to other types of Schnauzers but atm we only have Standards. All of our lines are health tested and checked for genetic traits such as color, coat type, etc. We consider ourselves mostly a competition kennel vs a breeding kennel. Our prime focus is to compete with our dogs regularly and when the title/retire we will have a few litters, we rarely breed more than 1 or 2 litters out of the same bitch. the reason for this is it's less stress on her and makes our lines a more highly desired line as not everyone will be able to get them.

C H I H U A H U A S

Our line of Chihuahuas are of the smooth variety. We find the smooth type chihauhua is the best example of what we view as a chihuahua. We may from time to time have a longhair or longhair carrying dog but it'll be very few. Our lines comprise mainly of Sables, Fawns, Piebalds, Saddlebacks, and Tan pointed dogs. With the rare self colored and Irish Chihuahua. Our chihuahuas are bred primarily for show but will also compete regularly in Obedience and Agility classes.

S C H N A U Z E R S

Our line of Standard Schnauzers will primarily be Salt & Pepper of varying degrees. We may have a Rare black crop up but this is extremely rare. Our Schnauzers are bred to be the best examples of their breed. They are very versatile and do well in all arenas from show to hunting to obedience & agility. They do it all.

I B I Z A N   H O U N D S

Our line of Ibizan Hounds are very refined. We find our line to be the best example of a versatile hound out there. This doesn't mean we think we are the best, it just means this is how we chose to develop our line and it suits us well. Our line consists primarily of a mix of White, High White, and moderately colored individuals. We may occasionally have a High color individual to pair with a White or High white dog and/or bitch. All of our "Beezers" do exceptionally well in shows and hound sports such as lure coursing.

I M P O R T S

Here at TZ we offer many different services.  Our main service will be Imports.  Upon request we will offer the service of importing a dog of your choosing.  It does not have to be of a breed we possess.  It can be any breed.  If we find it not do-able though we will let you know.  We've imported German Shepherds, Dobermans, Huskies, Corgis, Bouvier Des Flandres, and many other breeds.  WE have a vast set of skills at procuring quality stock and are happy to assist members in starting up their kennels.  We do have a few rules about Imports though.  These can be found on the services website.


C O A T S

We also offer a Coat service for those who are having difficulty making dog coats or just want something different.  All that we ask is that you do not market the coat as your own or re-use the coat on future dogs(without our express permission).


B R E E D I N G 

We will offer private litters to quality stock upon request and it can be to any active or retired dog or bitch in our possession.  A private litter is a litter where we will only make 1-2 puppies.  1 for me and 1 for you.  No more.  As the dog's in question are often still competing we don't want to tire them out with excessive breeding or large litters.

If you find youselves having a difficult time creating litters, or want a more skilled hand at it we offer the service of making litters for you.  this includes creation of the puppies and coats for the puppies.

Xavier McCall is a fresh handler, He's never handled dogs professionally before but has attended many dog shows with his family. Xavier was adopted as a toddler and raised as if he were their own. He attended all the best schools, and by all accounts is considered a genious or above average intelligence. He graduated High School when he was only 13 years old and got his Bachelor's in Business Management by 17. He's chosen to take over the family business of Kennel management and Animal Husbandry And is currently working on his next degree which will be in animal husbandry. Until than he is not the owner of the kennel but co-owner in a sort of internship. His father is showing him how to run the kennel while he goes to school. One of the pre-requisites his father has is that his son learns what it is to be a kennel owner...and the only way to do that is to present dogs for show. But his father is taking it a step further since his son has never had to work for anything in his life he's challenging Xavier to learn to work with an animal.

Animals are not Xavier's strong suit; though he loves dogs he was just never good socially with them...or people. So his father is giving him a valuable lesson in those areas. Xavier must choose 2 dogs, oversee the process of breeding, pick a puppy from the litter and rear it for show. This was all started several years ago when a co-breeding was agreed on between Rose Point Kennel and Dovahiin Border Collies. His father brought him the list of breeding females and told him to pick 1 that he thinks would be a good match. He chose Bella. aka Rosepoint's Viva de la Bella as the brood. Xavier was than charged with delivering her to the stud kennel and managing all the breeding with the other breeder. Several months later a litter was whelped and Xavier had to choose who he thought had the potential of a great show dog.

Though many of the pups were born with more desirable markings...the splitface irish just spoke to him. He was everything as a puppy he'd want to see in a breeding kennel. He had great lines, a fabulous temperament, and even as a puppy was focused and friendly. His father was quite surprised by his choice but as he watched him rear Wol he started to see what his son had seen in the dog.

Now that he has reared the puppy to showing age he told Xavier "now you must prepare him for show. This involves meticulous grooming and training." His father oversaw all grooming of Wol and by the time the puppy was six months of age he was ready to show. He had a well groomed coat, and a great bond was created between him and Xavier. Finally Wol got his registration papers and was ready to show. His father took it upon himself and entered the pair in a small all breed show just outside of town. He watched as he presented, nervously, Wol to the judges. But in the End Wol and him were able to take Best of Breed.

Xavier was soo proud of himself and Wol. He really felt as though he could do this and be like all the others in his family. He was finally a show handler. All his training was starting to pay off. Wol was registered at two clubs and with that came a hectic show schedule. But he felt up to the challenge. His father was even able to snag a great photo of the two relaxing in the quiet are of one of the shows. After they had presented.

thank you. I plan to do things like this with every show. I'll only have a few dogs at a time here. since my other club is where I show heavily....but I have plans to introduce a few more handlers and dogs.

I make a copy of the dog in Photoshop, smudge the shape of the fur and than use a hair brush to dodge and burn to get the fur texture glad you love my fur. It took me several years to develop the skills for it There's more to Xavier than mentioned above. To say the least...atm he's in the closet.
