Help on what breed to pick?

Hey guys,

I'm new to the Sims dog world, but would like to try my hand at having my own kennel. I'm kind of unsure what breed to pick, though! I initially wanted to do Standard Poodles but I feel like their coat is a bit too hard for me to manage. I'm thinking of German Shorthaired Pointers or Karelian Bear Dogs. I plan on making my own templates for either of them, but I'm a bit unsure of how dogs will get accepted into the SKC. If anyone can help me out, I'd greatly appreciate it!

Why not do both!!? (I personally have about 6+ different breeds in my kennel atm XD)

You can have both as a mainbreed. Here at the club are some members too with more than one breed. You mustn't have tons of each breed so its easy to handle it though.
I also think both are great breeds

I say do both (but do the German Short haired Pointer if you decide you only want to do one breed xd). Like Safe Haven said, you can always start with just one of each breed and let your experiences with them on here guide your choices.
