Is there a over all ageing system the site follows? I heard something about it, if not I'll use mine, 4 months=1 year. I'm just trying to see where my dogs will fall for the birth date.

Haunani Kennel Our current suggestion for aging is 3 months = 1 year based on our planned show system. As this is a new system we are trying for the reboot of the skc it might need to be tweaked in the future. 4 months = 1 year should be fine too

Ok I use the 4 months to 1 year in my kennel, so if I used the 3 months=1 year several of them would be retire already lol. I could always make some new ones just for the SKC.

We suggest 3mo = 1 year but I like to leave that up to our members. At the end of the day, the SKC provides a framework for competition but we won't tell you how to play your game. Whatever you prefer is okay with us. |

I don'd mind either way, but if things on here are being based around the 3 months=1 year then I would rather keep to that because I was on a forum once that used an aging system and I used a different one and it made things a bit confusing. So I guess it all depends on how much you guys are going to base on the aging system. Worse thing that happens is that I make some dogs for SKC lol (which anyone who knows me knows I have a bad habit of always wanting more dogs)

I'm kind of late to the conversation but I was lurking around the forum and noticed the aging system question. I have my kennel on 2 months = 1 year. Should I change it to 3 months?
