Sporting Shows
Canine sports are defined by the SKC as a sporting activity performed by a dog that can usually be judged quantifiably. These can be judged via timed events, distance, or weight. These can be divided into classes as well and judged either based on photography or randomization. If randomizing events, be sure they provide at least one image (which can be used for future randomization shows).

Obedience Shows
Obedience shows are shows that require dogs to perform a certain set of tasks directed by a handler. As such, it is imperative that when judging these shows you take the handler into account as well as the dog. Standard Obedience and Freestyle shows should be divided by size and difficulty/level. Obedience shows also consist of shows meant to exhibit a breed's natural abilities, such as Field Trials, Schutzhund, and Herding Trials. These shows should have classes separated by breed suitability.
