SKC Field Trial

Field Trials have developed to test the working ability of Gundogs in competitive conditions. Trials resemble, as closely as possible, a day's shooting in the field and dogs are expected to work with all manner of game, from rabbits and hares, to partridges and pheasants.
This show will have (1) judge:

Ms. Twilip will run the entries through a randomizer. This show will run from 05/12 - 05/15. Show to be judged 05/16.

Entry Guidelines:
All dogs must have SKC numbers to compete. You will have until the judging dates to do so and you must update your entry form.

All dogs must be full grown (game), or at least six months of age to compete.
Dress appropriately for the terrain; boots and jackets are preferred. Neutral colors. If using real ammunition for live game, all handler must wear a florescent vest/jacket over their clothing. Hats are preferred head-ware, in florescent coloring if using live ammunition. The handler DOES NOT have to appear in every photo.
Must wear a collar. In-game or drawn in, neutral colors. If using real ammunition of live game, please use a florescent color. No lead.
Handlers must be young-adults or older. No exceptions.
You may reuse images for previous shows.
This show will be held outdoors.

Photo entry must consist of ONE of the following depending on your class:
Retriever
Steadiness To Shot: The dog must remain calm and steady at the gun shot.
Retrieve: A photo of the dog retrieving the game, land or water.
Return: Game must be brought to hand.
Spaniel
Quartering: Dog must be seen visibly searching for game.
Flush: Dog must be seen flushing game.
Return: Dog must be seen returning the game to hand.
Pointer/Setter
Quartering: Dog must be shown searching for game.
Honor: The dog must be seen visibly pointing or focused on the game, may be hidden or visible.
Flush: Dog must be seen flushing game.
