Here at Bravissimo Kennels, we strive for excellence in everything we do, whether it be breeding, showing, or just finding a lost poppy a forever home. We don't settle for anything less than fantastic.
Bravissimo Kennels was founded in Italy on the basis of friendship and success. We aim to achieve any goal we set, and we do it while having a good time. Blythe Kearney, the founder, invested in the creation of this kennel to better improve the quality of life for countless dogs (and even some cats!). She and the other employees work to provide for these animals, and make sure they get the most out of their lives, while forming bonds and relationships along the way. Blythe's older sister, Felisa, is the on-sight veterinarian on the clock 6 days a week. Professional trainers and handlers visit from time to time to provide lessons to both dogs and people for shows and to just build trust with one another. The kennel acts as an adoption clinic as well, so any dogs with temperamental issues are definitely coaxed out of these habits with care, not cruel punishment. We want to provide, not take away.

Blythe grew up the middle child of three sisters. The oldest was Felisa, and youngest was Elena. Blythe sat right in the middle. Her family was rather well set, given her father was a chemical engineer travelling the world and her mother a business agent. The three often ended up home alone, with their two male salukis, who were brothers. Blythe and Felisa were closer to the dogs than Elena was, as she sought different things in life. Elena wanted to become a famous singer (to this day she still travels to find gigs). Felisaa early on knew her calling was in animal medicine, but Blythe didn't know until later on that she was to become a kennelmaster. For the longest time, she aimed to become an architectural designer. Blythe was a designer for years, but grew more and more bored as the days rolled by. She earned herself a nice sum of cash and decided to invest in a puppy. She wanted a sighthound, and one from a good breeder, not a breeder that inbred their lines. She searched online for hours before a young borzoi female caught her eye. She was brindle, with a single white paw and a couple white blotches on her chest and neck. That was it. She called the number and offered to pick her up the following week. Blythe named her "Grazia", Italian for "grace". As Grazia grew up, Blythe realized she was really interest in the showing part of dog ownership. She contacted everyone she needed to in order to really get this going. She changed Grazia's diet, her schedule, and her grooming habits in order to fit the requirements given to them. It wasn't long after Blythe realized she wanted more, and she wanted to provide dozens of dogs with love and care. So she invested all of her money into great facilities and staff, and now her true dream is coming true.
