I have a brindle bitch who's head I loath. Yet she literally refuses to be deleted from game, so she stays at the moment. But a friend has loaned me a template that I may be able to work with. :3 Game just hasn't been working so I haven't made myself a Borzoi heard yet.

Hahaha "refuses to be deleted". That must be one stubborn and beautiful girl (despite her head!). Hope to see whatever you come up with soon! Divine's sliders have been soooo useful to make Yerba's head look decent. They are just such a deformed breed...I love them!

Yerba is a really sweet and loving girl! She still thinks she is a little dog as will constantly try to sit on our staff's lap despite her big size. However this is a bit of a problem with other dogs, specially big dogs due to the fact that she becomes easily intimidated by anything bigger than a cocker. Luckily, with the Bassets there is no problem but as soon as she sees our wolfhounds, specially Finster, the biggest, she will stand behind the person she is most trustful of (for now this happens with Nati and Dane Russeaux, kennel owners) or hide under a bush or a table. Recently she has gotten nervous and snappy when Finster approached to sniff her out.

We are worried but have been working on her social skills by placing her and Finster in a fenced-in neutral area with no places to hide. Being the lazy butt he is (and after Yerba's nervous attitude) Finster ignores her and minds his own business. On the other hand, Yerba has been pacing the perimeter endlessly looking for a way out, panting all the time. After hours, she gave up. And with nothing else to do, we are happy to say her doggy instincts woke up; she began taking interest in her surroundings, avoiding the big Wolfhound at first but eventually approaching him carefully. Hard work is still ahead of us but now that the biggest and hardest step has been taken, we are confident that Yerba's own confidence will only grow...

This is "Lucero", a lively and attentive boy. He is quite reserved with strangers but as soon as his trust is won he is the most annoyingly cute shadow. Despite his initial shyness he displays a very attentive and alert attitude, whether it is towards a bird jumping from tree to tree to cars passing by Baires' gate. We have still to introduce him to the male members of the pack, specially since disputes about domination may occur with Finster. On another note, Yerba's own confidence is growing day by day and the new arrival only made her stand behind Finster rather than cower for cover under the nearest couch (as if she could fit pssh).

Another update for you guys! Today Dane decided to take some of the dogs on an all-day trail ride trip and had them train in a bit of tracking. It was the most fortunate opportunity to introduce Lucero to the rest of the pack. There was some minor intense stares and growls between Finster and Lucero. You can clearly see who remains the alpha dog. But once Dane got on the move on Manchita, Baires' Argentine Warmblood, all hounds minded their own business and happily trailed along. At one moment our Basset, Fidel caught a wiff of an unlucky hare passing by. As soon as the sighthounds were alerted by the short-legged canine they shot off like bullets after it, losing themselves among the tall pampa grass...
